Stations Checked In: 16
Net Closed: 9:06 PM
The net today saw 16 stations checking in, on this "where is summer" edition of the net. We welcomed 7 new stations to the net this evening, KE8ETI, KE8KOY, WA8MCD, KC8CIO, KV8G, KE8KMM, and KE8NAN - welcome everyone and hope you stop back by and often.
Net control held the net from the newly commissioned Kalamazoo DMR repeater, KM8CC, currently in testing at an interim location. The net next week will be handled by Randy N8YUI, so make sure to come on back by and show him some love.
Announcements
- Field day is 2 weekends from now on the 22nd - hopefully everyone has something fun planned for it. Remember that DMR and other internet-assisted modes don't count for points but are great to demonstrate for visitors.
- Next week Randy N8YUI will be the NCS as I will be traveling over the next week, thank you Randy. If anyone else is interested in becoming an NCS, please let me know!
- The Kalamazoo area sorta has a DMR repeater - the KM8CC repeater is online in a testing state. It doesn't have much range at this moment but will hopefully soon be in a better location.
- K7ABD has created a codeplug builder for Anytone radios - you can add CSV files for analog and digital repeaters, and talkgroups, set some options and it will build the codeplug for you. Check it out at K7ABD.net.
